Bobby LePire Film Threat At the end of the day, the audience never felt like they went on a ride, they started where they began, maybe in a slightly more depressed mood. So, what is the point? As it stands, there seems not to be one. Rated: 5/10 May 18, 2020 Full Review Matt Donato Flickering Myth Human Zoo is an unconscionable failure from beginning to what the film defines as its "end." Miguel p Absolutely amazing movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review GoodBaldUgly 2 Absolute one of the worst movies I have seen, this makes human centipede look good NEGATIVE 5 stars for me Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Deidra K SPOILERS- Do not watch this film!! No ending. No explanation. No point. I have never written a review on Rotten Tomatoes before. This movie made me so angry that I had to make an account just to leave a review. Let me start by saying I love horror movies, even the bad ones. This was something far worse. I don't mind a movie leaving questions unanswered as a way to make you ponder the possibilities, but after almost 2 hours of film... you have no more information than you did 25 minutes in. The movie just ends. No warning. No resolutions. No explanations. An hour and a half of segmented scenes in each person's "room" that randomly cuts out. Some will say the acting was terrible. For bad horror movies, I didn't find the acting deplorable. I felt like most the actors/actresses did they best they could with what they had. That being said, I don't think anything could have saved this film. I have watched over 1000 horror films... this would have to be, without question, the worst one yet. 0% Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/23 Full Review Firstname L My god this film. So boring! Take some really bad actors pretending to go into a reality tv situation. Make them unlikeable then expect us to care when the inevitable happens and they all start cracking up. We all knows what happens when humans spend an extended time in solitary confinement. And these people didn't even spend a considerable time there. I can't emphasise enough how terrible this film was. Kind of hoped they would all be shown as skeletons in he end having being left there. Oh and last thing. Sound. The sound is horrible especially with a background noise like a fan. God this was rubbish Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst "horror" movie I have ever seen. It has no point. No consistency. The acting is weak, the script is dubious (at best) and the cinematography is a dog's breakfast. Silly silly movie. All I could think after this film is, why is Amazon Prime buying such garbage? Beats me. Don't bother watching this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member To see the amount of half star/1 star reviews is unreal to me. Yes, it was slow, yes the ending was abrupt. But clearly the aim of this movie is completely lost on it's audience. The title Human Zoo lays out the aim of the movie from the get-go, as does the reference to Tigers being locked up. This is clearly a controversial and political film showing the grotesque nature of animals in captivity. No climax? What climax would you expect. This was a piece of art to make you think and does not deserve the reviews. If you're looking for a horror movie, it isn't the one and the reviews probably lie a little with the face value marketing as such; but for what the film is, it is great.
