Jim Brown is a prisoner on Devil's Island who, guess what, tries to escape! Released the same year as "Papillon" this film is like comparing "The Shawshank Redeption" to "Penitentiary." I like Jim Brown a lot, with his oddly charismatic wooden style of acting, but this film is pretty bad.

Fun, gritty grindhouse prison escape movie. Jim Brown amps up the cool factor without goin overboard, but the filmmakers clearly relish in going far, far overboard.
