Been using it for quite a while now. Always look at the user reviews as opposed to the "professional" reviews. Can usually gauge quickly if I’ll like the movie. So here I am, doing my little part to elevate art that I personally believe deserves, and more importantly, needs to be recognized. This movie was, in my humble opinion, executed beautifully. Still processing exactly what I took from it. And that in an of itself is more than most movies out there. To return to the original reason I felt obliged to write this review… it’s movies like this that demonstrate so well how important, necessary and beautifully random, this ultimate of human art forms (in my opinion) is. This is, again just my personal opinion. But I think it’s important to support and recognize such achievements when they cross our paths. Kudos to all those involved. That’s all. Loved this film! See more Kevin P @RT55971421 01/25/2025 A bizarrely sweet, depressing, violent, and hilarious movie all wrapped in one shaken cocktail of emotions. This movie takes the everyday relatable frustrations of our life when dealing with assholes and plunges into a crazy bloody vigilante rabbit hole adventure from the likes of “The Big Lebowski”. Melanie Lynskey and Elijah Wood have terrific chemistry and share great comedic timing and likability. You really buy their friendship despite all the oddities they encounter. It’s nice seeing the two of them work together again after their amazing voicework in “Over the Garden Wall”. The movie covers mature themes of finding good and bad faith in humanity, coping with how small and insignificant your place in the world may feel, depression, alcoholism, vigilantism vs bureaucratic complacency, sour nepotism, and persevering with hope for a better future. See more 09/09/2024 Lynskey is one hell of an actress. Her character felt so real. Interesting from start to finish and very original. Loved every scene and every second of this movie.
