Audience Member I love the fact she gets revenge so damn much. There’s a lot of movies out there where something like this will happen, then someone else goes and gets revenge for them. I always found that kind of stupid. Katara’s whole arc of getting revenge for the murder of her mother is one of my favorites ever (Avatar the Last Airbender). Of course in contrast there are some films where that character is in too bad shape to get proper revenge. Like in “Boyz n the Hood” Ricky ain’t gonna come back to life after being shot to get revenge lol. So his brother and friends did it. This film is different, when films like this come along in which it lights a fire within and all you can hope for is victory it’s exciting. The gruesome ways she lures everyone in, and ends them proper is awesome. I really like how this film shows how a person can take back what’s theirs. Sort of like a vigilante. This film is very similar to Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” the more I think about it. Also the sped guy named Stanley sucked, I unironically disliked him. I honestly hated everyone except Jennifer in this movie actually. 3/5 stars, I know it seems like a low rating but I enjoyed it. Obviously gratuitous amounts of nudity, if you don’t like it then suck it up buttercup. Didn't disappoint with how she executed with each scene, and quite happy with how it finished the film. No sequel needed. Overall, there's no fancy cinematics or over-the-top special effects - just kept it simple with the focus on the main character and the story, which was a good choice for that movie. It got a lot of flak, was said to glorify violence against women. Though the violence against the main actress is incredibly excessive, it drives the point home in that her actions of retaliation against the men that did that to her is well-deserved.
