Susan G 06/27/2024 I see all the rotten reviews but I liked it - I keep it on my DVR - I love movies shot in "artic" conditions and I believed this movie was not given a chance by the reviewers....watch again, you may change your mind...and Dominic and Gabriel Hogan are easy on the eyes...Hogan has a great career since this movie. See more 12/26/2019 The story in this movie, though fictional, is quite compelling and stimulating. It opens up scary thoughts of how far the Russians would go to destroy America during the Cold War. And the threat still exists today. The film is well done. Directing and acting were good, especially for Dominic Purcell and Gabriel Hogan. See more 12/29/2018 Rather fun and not to be taken too seriously, this action-drama has beautiful cinematography, epic landscapes, and sets with surprisingly high quality of adherence to the important fine details. The prologue in 1962 was very well crafted giving a realistic feel for the period and what things looked like, how people acted, without the usual disparaging eye of modern political filtering. The acting was excellent and the casting was spot on. This film was much better than I expected despite the cliche story concept.
