Georgan G 3 & 1/4 stars. Double blackmail is another amazing work by Oscar Wilde. This was not a major film production, but part of a collection by BBC. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review joe m Enjoyable oldie with some gorgeous sets and gowns. Goddard is very campy as Mrs Cheveley and supported by stellar British cast. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Paulette enjoys her role as the dastardly Mrs. Cheveley, Glynis Johns is a droll delight as Mabel and Constance Collier very funny as Lady Markby but everybody else is rather stiff. Still a good adaptation of the Wilde comedy of manners. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Why aren't all comedies as good as this?
