Audience Member Some of it comes across as staged but the time you get the climax it is a real feel good documentary. Maradona what a remarkable human being. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A nice documentary if you like football. I do, so give it 4 stars. If football bores you then this really won't be your cup of tea. That isn;t to say this is about football per se. Its about freestyle football and thr tricks on display are quite brilliant in places. In particular Jeremy Lynch steals the show and some of his youtube videos are testament to his freestyle sills. Well worth watching if you enjoy ball skills talent as Lynch in particular is right at the top of his game. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best true story i ever seein ... great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A very well done documentary on how not to give up on your dreams no matter how silly they are. I am not saying wanting to meet Diego Maradona is silly by any long shot because I would have done the exact same as these lads if I was braver and not too concerned about having a full time job and a 'normal' life. Watching a documentary like this does inspire people, it inspires me but it also teases me because I know I will never be that adventurous and step out of my comfort zone but this is why films like this should always be made... to show us of the possibilities one could achieve if they just push themselves to do it. We don't see a lot of freestyle football, which is a shame but the story is touching and has a great conclusion. Shame Maradona didn't make as much of an effort to spend time with them but I suppose he is a very busy man with many many fans who would love to meet him and would do as much if more to do so. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Great little biopic. Begs the question why didnt they juggle in front of Diego Maradona at the end? No Hollywood finale makes this a surprising package. One to root for. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Although at first I wasnt sure I could put up with the 5 lads and their antics, as it develops and you get to know them, and their backgrounds this turns into a really really good documentary showing their literal and emotional journey. Highly recommended Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

David Gritten Daily Telegraph (UK) Certainly the story's climax in Buenos Aires is unexpected, yet many scenes resemble staged reality TV moments: group hugs, tears, mumbled monologues about overcoming obstacles. Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Andrew Pulver Guardian This trip rapidly becomes more about how they interact rather than their gravity defying ball. Rated: 4/5 Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Wendy Ide Times (UK) If ever there was a film that celebrated the joy of existence, the heady thrill of scaling a seemingly insurmountable challenge, it's this shambling documentary. Rated: 4/5 Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Matthew Turner ViewLondon Entertaining, likeable and surprisingly moving documentary with engaging characters and some astute observations about obsession, friendship and the pursuit of fame. Rated: 3/5 Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Daily Mirror (UK) Part road movie, part character study, here's a movie made for peanuts that outshines 75 per cent of what Hollywood churns out. Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Tom Dawson Total Film Entertaining and affecting, this takes its subjects out of their comfort zone and onto a journey of self-discovery. Stirring soccer skills are matched by absorbing action off the ball. Rated: 4/5 Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews
