See more Chester 02/11/2023 At the beginning, it looks like this film is going to be kind of comedic, but it isn't. Also, nothing much happens during the first half-hour, so I stuck with it, hoping my patience would eventually payoff with some horrific scenes or something, but I was wrong. However, what I learned is that one can immediately tell that a person is inbred if he or she has bad teeth and/or a crooked mouth. This movie possibly falls into the category of "folk-horror", and definitely falls into the category of "Oof, that was Rotten." See more 11/27/2020 This movie was pretty mediocre and one of those you can somewhat predict the outcome of. Major spoiler ahead, nobody survives from the group as they desperately try to escape once things pick up. Yet, I can't help but feel this ending was disappointing I predicted at least the young female and her male partner would escape if not only the female though I was surprised when it didn't go that way. A victory at the end for at least one member involved is always nice yet instead we're greeted with the 'inbreds' laughing it off. I really feel like the movie has a slow start and when things take off it just seems like one of those common tropes that there are inconveniences and a lack of logic in the characters to easily escape the situation. Also the one thing that annoyed me the most about the movie is when the boy who wears glasses has a gun, points it out the crack in the door and can shoot anyone, the main man is right there yet he goes and shoots the brains out of a guy who's just a slacky. Talk about major plot armor but it was written for the enemy to win so no surprise yet I found this ridiculously poor as both were in reach of aim. See more Read all reviews
