dan p Genuinely the best British horror comedy I've ever watched, good story, great gory kills and set up north Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/23 Full Review steven h I enjoyed it all. Entertaining amusing twisted sicko of a film that it was. Cheap and very very cheerful. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Chester At the beginning, it looks like this film is going to be kind of comedic, but it isn't. Also, nothing much happens during the first half-hour, so I stuck with it, hoping my patience would eventually payoff with some horrific scenes or something, but I was wrong. However, what I learned is that one can immediately tell that a person is inbred if he or she has bad teeth and/or a crooked mouth. This movie possibly falls into the category of "folk-horror", and definitely falls into the category of "Oof, that was Rotten." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review El D Worst thing I've ever watched, it's made me feel sick to my stomach, who ever came up with that film needs help Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/05/23 Full Review Liam D It's like a mixture between Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wrong Turn, Eden Lake and The Hills Have Eyes but without anything original Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/26/22 Full Review Hugo An unpretentious horror movie that does not want to be taken too seriously. Quite entertaining as long as you keep modest expectations. Weird villagers attacking a group of rebel British youngsters. Simple plot! Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard One leaves the cinema with one's brain in pieces. Rated: 2/5 Sep 21, 2012 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian Both the comedy and horror rake over old ground. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2012 Full Review Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) Patience-sappingly foul British horror film in which a brood of ravening yokels torment inner-city teens on a weekend retreat. Rated: 1/5 Sep 20, 2012 Full Review Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy Awfully mean-spirited and often sickeningly gory, I would normally never recommend the likes of "Inbred". But the technical virtues of filmmaking on display here, coupled with a roster of well-played incredible characters, go far in redeeming the film. Jan 14, 2020 Full Review Cleaver Patterson CineVue A grotesque pastiche of every horror classic you can think of, which ultimately fails through its lack of anything even remotely resembling wit or style. Rated: 1/5 Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Sarah Gopaul Digital Journal For a feature debut, co-writer/director Alex Chandon seems to be trying to accomplish too much... As seen here, the result is a confused and bloody mess. Oct 22, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
