“Inside” is a small and constrained prison drama, even by the inflexible standards of its genre, and yet Williams’ debut is so replete with such moments of raw compassion that it almost invisibly accumulates a deep well of emotion. Go to Full Review

Despite some mild contrivances, this bleak Australian prison drama resonates with gritty thoughtfulness as it examines redemption, regret, and recidivism with heartfelt conviction. Go to Full Review

Dave H Oct 13 Extremely good acting. Very intelligent writing. Good movie 👍 See more Sep 7 Sat down to watch this. It's a really slow and poignant look at yhe prison system as well as trauma and the affect it can have on men. This film is bleak but features moments of genuine compassion. It's not an action-packed prison drama, so if that's what you're looking for, you might not enjoy it. It's a character-driven film. It asks you to consider even reprehensible characters as human beings and the prison and justice system and if it works. All in all I found this an interesting and thought provoking film. See more Corey S Sep 4 Expected it to be alot better than it actually was. The movie followed a singular dull plot. No real or very unexplained backstory of characters. The audio of dialogue was horrendous. Probably the worst movie i have watched in a long time. See more Kim L Sep 4 Simple, thought provoking. An insight into human nature in a unique situation most will never encounter. See more Chaz M Sep 4 Best film I've seen this year! No idea how this isn't being talked about more. The acting is phenomenal, should be at Oscars, writing and directing too. Did not expect what this film did to me.. wrecked and healed. See more Daniel N Sep 2 Guy Pearce movies seem to be getting more and more depressing. Bleak, sad and just unnecessary. Why even make somthing like this. See more Read all reviews
