Audience Member Slow moving but effective. Excellent cast with two very compelling stories. Both are none too original but the combination is clever, and when it seems it's not going anywhere some real tension enters. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review donna m Slow slow slow. Quit at nearly 30 minutes into the movie. The first 30 minutes should have taken up at most 10 minutes. Quit at this point. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Lame. Just so lame. Have no empathy for any of the characters, who are all completely uninteresting. And the ending was so stupid and unlikely. It was just so bad, like a vanity project film. Good production values and actors, how could they keep a straight face with the terrible writing? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Claudia Puig FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Fans of involving, taut, and clever murder mysteries should definitely steer clear of this one, because it's none of the above. May 12, 2020 Full Review Kristen Yoonsoo Kim New York Times Through flashbacks, the film traces the falling out that led to the women's current iciness. Their own connections, revealed bit by bit, make their plan even more ludicrous. May 7, 2020 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media The second in a trilogy of murder mysteries based on novels by Swedish author Hakan Nesser, this one, like the others, suffers from chilliness of character and pacing; it never quite clicks. Rated: 2/5 May 8, 2020 Full Review Prairie Miller WBAI Radio Actors playing actors on screen to further tease noir conventions and expectations, these seductive saboteurs shake up the genre as boldly conceived feminist fatales.
