Tamara K This movie had no point other than showing man's inhumanity to man. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Bill M I wasn't quite sure how I felt about this movie. I really really wanted to like it and it did have enough to keep me intrigued until the end, but it just didn't deliver as much as I had hoped. Big Adrien Brody fan, and he is great in this. Kind of reminded me of a mix between Jacobs Ladder and The Butterfly Effect. Music was good. Story and pacing was a little clunky. Think it's worth 1 watch, but not one to go back to and rematch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review Jack S A good cast is wasted in this depressing and seriously unpleasant film experience. Plus, the time travel nonsense portrayed sometimes baffles the film's continuity—I didn't know whether Brody's character was living/dead or, in the present/past at any given time through several confusing scenes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Robert M Adrien Brody & Kiera Knightley put on great performances in this thriller that gives off Butterfly Effect/Memento vibes. It's a slow burn at first, but it's brings you in and makes you care for the characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Cynthia C This movie is a very slow burn, but when it's starts, it doesn't stop! This movie, albeit not for everyone, is unforgettable (to the right viewers) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/21/22 Full Review robert p The Proposal sports a very good cast, but takes too long in discussions to get anywhere fast. After nearly two hours of Movie, I grew bored with it in the long moments. Thus my rating of *2* stars only!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nell Minow Common Sense Media Smart thriller is for mature older teens only. Rated: 4/5 Dec 28, 2010 Full Review Empire Magazine Rated: 3/5 Apr 1, 2006 Full Review Stella Papamichael BBC.com Ultimately it doesn't amount to much, but like Starks' drug-induced trip, The Jacket is about the journey not the destination. Rated: 3/5 May 10, 2005 Full Review Kristin Battestella InSession Film This horror meets science fiction mindbender wrapped in a twisted love story with suspense focuses on the emotional truths, culminating in a satisfying, rewatchable what if that stays with you long after the viewing ends. Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Kathi Maio The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction The Jacket is definitely one of those jumbles of a movie that I would normally rail against. And yet, in this case, the film still somehow manages to hang together as whole. Feb 28, 2020 Full Review James Mottram The List The film is energetic. But with a rather conventional love story at its heart -- not particularly convincingly acted by Brody and Knightley -- this is one jacket that doesn't fit.
