In the near future, a 'Grand Lottery' has been newly established in California -- the catch: kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot. When Katie Kim (Awkwafina) moves to Los Angeles, she mistakenly finds herself with the winning ticket. Desperate to survive the hordes of jackpot hunters, she reluctantly joins forces with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (John Cena) who will do everything in his power to get her to sundown in exchange for a piece of her prize. However, Noel must face off with his slick rival Louis Lewis (Simu Liu), who also seeks to collect Katie's commission at all costs.

The film did exactly what it was supposed to: it made me laugh and let me switch off my brain for a really good time. Some parts drag a little, but in the end, it’s only 1h40 — which is totally reasonable for a comedy. And there’s a blooper reel running through the entire credits. A fun surprise, and a really enjoyable watch!

Loved this movie. I will say, in order to appreciate this movie to its fullest, you have to be capable of taking the movie for what it is. If you go in taking it seriously at all, this will not be a pleasant experience for you. But if you can relax with some popcorn and know what you are about to watch is ridiculous and funny, it’s a blast. Cena is once again comedy gold, IF, again you can take it at face value. Another in a string of projects that showcases John Cena’s personality. Love it or love to hate it, it’s fun to watch

Jackpot was okay. It was not bad but it wasn’t the best movie. Im tired of seeing John cena in acting roles playing a “comedic killer”, I would prefer him in a more serious action role. There was definitely a good amount of action scenes and I enjoyed the plot. I would still recommend this for a watch.

I haven't wanted a film's protagonist to die this much since Frodo ineptly threw himself into the clutches of every villain in LOTR. The only reason I finished this movie was because deep down a part of me hoped that Awkwafina's annoying, idiotic, erratic character would be hit by a bus and Cena would get the money. I won't spoil it for those of you foolish enough to watch it.

Passible mindless watch. Annoying characters with loads of cinematic goofs (i.e moments when the protaganists clearly are leaving time for the supportt to catch up). Overall plot was ok but poorly executed
