Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times Overall, this is smart, solid whole-family entertainment, modest in its ambitions yet far above the run of made-for-TV holiday yuck you will be offered in the weeks ahead. And it has puppets. Nov 30, 2015 Full Review Erik Adams AV Club A modern-day fairy tale starring fantastical creatures who communicate in Mad magazine sound effects ("Burble," "Zorp," "Squonk," and "Thwring") ought to feel a little more unconventional than Turkey Hollow. Rated: C Nov 20, 2015 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety High art it's not, but unlike most overstuffed Lifetime movies, the whole family can watch together, and nobody winds up a chalk outline. Nov 19, 2015 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "I'm probably missing some great Internet snark right now," [Annie] whines. "#boring." Alas, the same hashtag can be applied to Turkey Hollow at times. Nov 19, 2015 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media There's something here for everyone, from a curious new collection of Henson monsters to affecting themes about the struggles and triumphs of parenthood. Audience Member A bit stupid but i loved the fact the aunt was a vegan and at the end all the turkey's were saved and went to an animal sanctuary Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This thing was god awful! The acting was bad, the antagonists were cartoonishly bad. It made me cringe so much I wanted to shower afterward. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I have seen Turkey Hollow half a dozen times. I don't personally love it but my daughter does. There is nothing to object to. I loved Labyrinth and my husband loved dark crystal at this age so I guess this is Henson for a new generation. Also the magic has nothing to do with Santa Claus so it isn't limited to Christmas or Thanksgiving and there is no uncomfortable questions for parents. Actually I guess I do love it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Such a cute movie!...The whole family loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Had higher hopes for a Jim Hensen film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's fun and intertaining.
