Audience Member Atmospheric and creepy Japanese ghost story about a father and daughter moving to an apartment block. Aimi, the daughter starts seeing a ghost of a schoolgirl and upon investigating finds she went missing on her way from school. A curse has been placed on the apartment block which the residents take very seriously indeed, in fact if they're not back over a line outside the place by midnight they're doomed to die. Aimi does some more digging to find out the truth behind the schoolgirl's disappearance and finds a shocking revelation. It's a great movie which racks up the tension as the plot starts to unravel itself. I did not expect the controversial ending so I was very surprised about it. Still, if you want to get scared with a minimal amount of gore then this little known gem is worth checking out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member firstly the show is not scary... it must be weird having an apartment controlling you... but i like it when the ghost help the gal get rid of her father Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Derivitive J-horror story taking elements from 'phone' and 'dark water' about a haunted apartment building. A decent written story that moves at a deliberate pace and holds the viewer's interest till the end. No big scares or surprises, but an ok watch. The ending is quite awkward as it explains the haunting and replays events that were never foreshadowed in the first 80 minutes. The final scene is downright strange if not silly. Mei Kurokawa puts forth a decent performance, and besides, is pretty to look at. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member No, this isn't another Dark Water, though it looked to be going that way in the beginning. If you're tired of the long-haired black woman thing, this may still seem a little repetitive to you. However, the movie didn't quite go where I expected it to, and it offered some creepy moments. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member El final aumento el puntaje que le doy. Con un poco mas de trabajo, pudo haber sido una excelente pelicula.
