Brad Wheeler Globe and Mail It is a journey from A to B, storytelling 101 - a soulful gesture free of artifice and grandiosity. That it comes with activism attached is not a bonus, but its very point. Rated: 3/4 May 25, 2018 Full Review Peter Howell Toronto Star Makes grand use of its beautiful setting. Rated: 2.5/4 May 24, 2018 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Drama with pro-environment message has some cursing. Rated: 3/5 Dec 19, 2018 Full Review Chris Knight National Post As a drama, Kayak to Klemtu ultimately founders. May 25, 2018 Full Review Liam Lacey Original Cin For better or worse, this is the sort of issue-oriented film that teachers like to show to middle-school classes. May 25, 2018 Full Review Norman Wilner NOW Toronto It moves along well enough, and younger viewers should respond to Ella's arc, but grown-ups will quickly realize the movie they're watching should be a lot better than it is. BECKHAM T This movie was truly terrible. Not once did I find myself enjoying it. the acting was subpar at best, Sonja Bennett shows a comlete lack of acting skill as she has shown all her career. I wasnt expecting much from this film but even taking that into consideration I found myself dozing off and wishing I never started it. The only reason I ever started this film was because I was forced to by my english teacher. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review MATTHEW K This is the worst movie/acting I've ever watched Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review YAMATO M It was good, our class watched the whole thing Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an insightful movie for Canadians who don't know much about our First Nations family and why the environment is so important. Also, why we need to support each other and learn. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The scenery and the soundtrack is reason enough to give this 4 stars, but I could also relate to the message behind it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing documentary that is easy to watch, perfect for kids and teens and holds such an important message. The only sad part was that a few weeks after the film was finished, an actual oil spill happened in that region. It will take years to restore it back to health and clean up the damage caused by the spill. Thanks for spreading this message. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
