Audience Member It's kind of sad that most people would not appreciate this movie. Perfect funny, mindless, well produced, action comedy, for a Friday night on the couch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful, cheesy and unfunny. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I would compare this movie to garbage, but that wouldn't be entirely accurate...both are stinky and useless, but garbage has substance. "Keeping Up with the Steins", a completely unfunny comedy with a wasted cast of talented actors, is just...nothing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a great coming of age movie that was funny, value oriented and even brought a tear to my eye. This was a fine piece of storytelling and a great find. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Frances H Cute, with a good lesson about family, plus, you can play spot the star cameos. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/10/15 Full Review Audience Member Talk about obscure. I saw this one sunday afternoon with about three other people in the theater with me. It's an interesting take on Judaism in America and the pomp and circumstance that comes with one's bar mitzvah. But it could've honestly been a lot better. It's about as cliched a movie as you could possibly get, right down to the obligatory musical guest appearance by Neil Diamond. In terms of an Ethnic comedy, It never comes close to the brilliance of "Moonstruck"... hell.. not even "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Keeping Up With the Steins isn't a bad film -- it just devolves into the limp sort of schmaltzy conclusion you keep hoping it will avoid. Rated: 2/5 Jun 24, 2006 Full Review Tom Keogh Seattle Times Excellent casting lifts this sitcomlike script. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 9, 2006 Full Review Roger Moore Orlando Sentinel It's not meant to be uproarious. But even as comfort food, Steins can't keep up. Rated: 2/5 Jun 9, 2006 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Surely this poorly scripted, badly directed picture is unappealing to any age group, gender, or ethnicity.
