Derek Elley Variety Powerhouse casting, and equally powerhouse direction by Rajkumar Santoshi, makes this an above-average example of mainstream Bollywood thrillers. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Omar Ahmed Empire Magazine Arguably the edgiest release to come out of Bollywood since Baghban, Khakee is a powerfully intense movie set on the mean streets of Mumbai. Rated: 4/5 Apr 1, 2006 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express The image of Amitabh Bachchan lecturing a violent mob about the Constitution will remain for eternity. As they say, only in the movies… Jan 27, 2024 Full Review Neeshita Nyayapati The Times of India If you're looking for an out-and-out cop thriller, go watch this one. You will not regret it! Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 26, 2020 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion If anything, there's still time for Khakee to be made mandatory viewing at police academies across the country. Audience Member Excellent movie. Total suspense and keeps you on edge throughout the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Ahmed M Khakee is a very good movie, it does have many issues in the story, but the story and the cast truly make this movie worth a watch. Unfortunately it's a very underrated movie and has never got the appreciation it deserved. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/16 Full Review Audience Member I think that the role of Yashwant Angre should have been given to Rahul Dev because Rahul Dev does a better job as a baddie Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Great enjoyment. An all time cop movie~! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A well made copy of 1977 Clint Eastwood's The Gauntlet. What a shame that bollywood can't make a single movie on it's own. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member watched it second time and loved it.
