      Audience Member Formulaic action drama about a man trying to avenge the death of his father, and then falling in love with a witness of his assassinations. Simon Yam and Joey Wong are good, but everyone else is overacting, probably because I could only find the English dubbed version. A semi decent finale full of guns and swords, but not a lot of substance in this short and unsatisfying movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review dave j Tuesday, November 16, 2010 (1990) A Killer's Romance (In Chinese with English subtitles) ACTION The sole idea taken from the Japanese manga comic book series called "The Crying Freeman" except that upon watching it doesn't seem like a comic book at all. To describe the plot is admissable since it's just another revenge type of movie involving double crosses and backstabbers and in my opinion serves no purpose but to showcase some amazing violence!
