Meu Deus! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Mary R The production values are so bad, it looks like it was somebody's high school project. The sound editing is so bad that sometimes you can't even hear the dialogue over the background noise. Let's not even talk about the acting. Not to mention that Santa Claus being a bloody unforgiving character who allows children to be murdered is a little bit hard to take. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Daniel M Triste, ruim e sem palavras Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie is in between cheesy fun and horror fun. There are elements of horror and mystery, and then there are elements of campy, low-budget fun. Instead of going for a bunch of cheap scares and jumps like the 2015 Krampus did, this one goes for a more documentary, mysterious, horror approach. The atmosphere in this movie is supported by its amazing soundtrack, simplistic special effects, fight and kill scenes, the creepy design of Krampus, and Krampus's eerie camera presence. Jason Hull took horror, mystery, crime, and thriller and made it into one its own genre, and did it right! The cheesiness is also through the roof. And I mean cheesy in a good way. The camera work is so simple and cheap that it actually works really well in here. You also have surprisingly good acting, especially from some of the children that Krampus is holding captive. However, there are some cons to the film as well. For example the ending. The film ends with the main hero's daughter being held captive by Krampus and that's it. No fight between the main guy and Krampus, nothing. Yeah, very unsatisfying ending. Another con is the lighting. The lighting is so poor that it's very hard to see what really happens at times. The editing isn't too bad, though it could use some work. So that's my review for this one. 4/5. Not too shabby! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member What is that? You can't call it horror, you can't call it mystery, you even can't call it a movie. I paid money for thiis trash. I better used that Money as toilet paper.
