The film begins with an impressive action sequence that showcases Kraven’s talents, while also sprinkling in some humour. Unfortunately, it’s a rollercoaster of ups and downs after that as the picture yo-yos between solid storytelling and pitiful acting.

Great sit on your phone alone in a theatre movie. I had already accepted that it was going to be corny, so I just watched, and I appreciated it for what it was, but ultimately my bladder and a financial opportunity were more important, so I left with about 30 minutes to go. I’d say watch it, pay attention, and appreciate it for what it is.
