Audience Member Apaixonada no gráfico, a ideia de fazer a população mesquinha e ambiciosa com aspecto robótico e metálico, contrastando com ratos reais, deu todo um charme a produção, aliado ausência de falas, entretanto, o diálogo utilizado é inteligível, mas os sentimentos, conversas, ações, muito bem perceptível, incrivelmente transmitindo toda a magia da obra, com seu ar sombrio, dos fatos históricos, qualidade impecável, inteligente, criativo, muito bem produzido, encantador, apaixonante… Rated 4.5/5 Stars •  Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A short but memorable stop motion. Barta rewards his viewers with thoughtful images, sounds and daring moments, such as the climax where the Pied Piper dashes past Gothic-looking buildings underscored by metal music. Edgy and darkly satisfying. The shorts are his entire filmography from 1978 - 89, one of which isn't added on IMDb's database yet, seven of which aren't added on Flixster's database yet (I'll ask the admins and MAYBE they'll be added). Until they get added the other shorts will only be spoken about but they'll definitely be elaborated on eventually since I have so much to say about this genius stop-motion animator. About this short: It's about a rat-infested materialistic town. It's funny, not for kids (My niece got scared), and entertaining. See it and be amazed, damn't.
