The film undeniably has pacing issues, oftentimes moving way faster than it should, though overall "Kung Fu Panda 2" is still an extremely enjoyable film with a fantastic villain, interesting characters, dazzling visuals, and a gut-wrenching story to boost it.

This movie had so much potential! And it flopped. It flopped hard. Now, I'm not saying I hate this movie, but I also don't like it. Like the first and third movies, the comedic aspects are very visible, but in this movie, they overdid it. They wrote it in such a wanting-to-make-the-audience-laugh way, it overshadows the other parts of the movie, like how it sets up Po's past. Now, I did like Shang. He's my favorite villain in all of the Kung Fu Panda villain, but he does get outshined by Po, (and the writers). My overall rating of this movie of this movie is ⚡62%

This sequel doesn't disappoint and explains how Po became the son of a noodle-making gander while Po learns how to find inner peace. While I loved the anthropomorphic animals in the first film, I initially thought the wolves were hyenas.
