Synopsis
Emotionally immature Pascale Blanchot (Marie-Josée Croze) constantly fails her 8-year-old daughter, Eva (Bertille Noël-Bruneau), and is unable to become the supportive parent she needs. When Pascale forgets to pick up Eva from school, the confused and lost girl runs into the street, where Etienne Vollard (Olivier Gourmet), a local bookseller, hits her with his car. Left in a coma, Eva is confined to a hospital bed, and while her mother cannot rise to the occasion, Vollard visits every day.
