Audience Member Fantastic movie, mixing comedy, drama, and magic realism. Based on the same 1920's Russian novel on which the Mel Brooks movie The 12 Chairs was based. Made me kind of want to see the 12 Chairs, but I'm sure it would be w-a-y different than this one.
