Dangerfield and Brandis are great on screen. Tim Treakle See more 03/02/2022 Ladybugs would never make it today but I still love Rodney Dangerfield and remember laughing at all these dirty jokes when I saw this at a much younger age. I also definitely picked up on twice as many sexual references or innuendos than I had ever realized were in this previously. This is a one star movie that because of Dangerfield's comedy, and a bit of nostalgia, will always get a higher rating from me. See more @mawilps 08/20/2021 This sports comedy was pretty good. Rodney Dangerfield, Jackee Harry, Jonathan Brandis, Vinessa Shaw, Ilene Graff, and the rest of the cast did a pretty good job in this movie. The plot of the movie was humorous and entertaining. It's a funny story on how to win a soccer championship to get a job promotion. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you'll probably enjoy it. Don't listen to most of the bad reviews this movie got, they have terrible tastes in movies. It was better than I thought it would be. See more 04/17/2021 Not anywhere near as good as "Back To School" and it doesn't really pick up until about 30 minutes into it. Has some really funny moments but it could have been better.
