Ed Potton Times (UK) It's affecting stuff -- there are few things more moving than tough men getting emotional. Rated: 4/5 Apr 5, 2019 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian This is a workmanlike iteration somewhat ploddingly true to its genre, from the style of lighting used for the interviews, to the sweeping, keening strings-led soundtrack, to the almost shocking moments of humour and honesty. Rated: 3/5 Apr 5, 2019 Full Review Indiana Tarrant Little White Lies Not unenjoyable, just not as enjoyable as it could've been. Rated: 3/5 Apr 5, 2019 Full Review Sarah Vincent Sarah G Vincent Views there is no definitive answer whether Chris died. At the hour mark, the truth is revealed, and it is so elemental, simple and dramatic with none of the dramatics of the movie, which proves that you do not need big names or special effects Mar 3, 2025 Full Review Christopher Campbell Nonfics (Substack) It’s pretty underwhelming despite the intensity of its story. The ballad of s I'm not crying......You're crying........ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review James R Outstanding re-creation of a little known true story and unexplained miracle in the North Sea. Suspenseful and captivating. Terrific acting. One of Woody's finest roles. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Lizeth V I did not believe for a second that this was a true story until I verified myself. Amazing! Not sure if I can say anything wrong about it I'm just so in shock! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Anthony S Absolutely a great movie well-directed and the director makes you feel like you're in the water with the divers Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/25 Full Review William R I saw this last night as a unseen movie at AMC. I myself have 147 dives and found the movie super accurate and interesting. Children and babies that have fallen into a super cold swimming pool have been revived with no permanent damage. As the film suggests at the end, scientists and doctors could not figure out how he lived so long with no oxygen, except it must have been the depth and the cold temperatures that saved him! Fantastic movie. I highly recommend it when it comes out in theaters on the 28th of February. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/25 Full Review Kirk R Its remarkable what humans can accomplish. Thrilling true documentary. If it was a movie scripot you would have said "Yeah right." Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/25 Full Review Read all reviews
