Robert Levin Newsday It's formulaic and pedestrian when it should be treading mysterious psychological depths. Rated: 2/4 Mar 13, 2020 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times "Last Ferry" has much creative, emotional, sexual and sociocultural terrain in mind, at least according to its production notes. So why does the film feel so convoluted and unconvincing? Aug 29, 2019 Full Review Andrew Stover Film Inquiry The end product isn't perfection, but this gay lawyer's journey to Fire Island to escape monotony and find luxury is rescued by its cast and crisp cinematic style. Oct 24, 2019 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Director Jaki Bradley and actor-writer Ramon Torres create cleverly enigmatic characters, all of whom have something to hide. But they withhold far too much from the audience, leaving us on the outside looking in. Rated: 3/5 Aug 1, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

PridePosterStudios Don’t board the Last Ferry. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review georgan g This was one mystery that I didn't have figured out early on, therefore I recommend it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed this, the whole cast were brilliant. Not quite the ending I'd have liked though. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Good cinematography, engaging acting. Pace and plot could do with some improvement. Overall watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Overall a decent film. A nice reprieve from the typical romcom that is Queer cinema. Left me wanting more closure. I'm assuming this was to leave open for potential sequel, if that was the intention I wouldn't hold my breath. All in all I liked the film, the protagonist is very likable. I think they missed the mark by not giving us more of a final girl-esk moment. Although I have my complaints it was a solid effort for queer representation on film, and a nice change of pace for the genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Ugh. This film couldn't have been much worse. Its only redeeming feature is the decent style and okay soundtrack. The plot was dire, nothing really happened and there was no character development. No substance whatsoever what a waste of time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
