Ghelove g Jul 29 This has nothing to do with the ratings per se but, I just need to throw this out. This is the second time I've seen this movie, the first must have been in an alternate universe. I saw the thumbnail and thinking it was a classic Zombie movie, I tuned in. Something was familiar about the one of the lead actress so, I hung in even thou, I was now under the impression it was a teen movie. By the time, the killers had arrived at the bowling alley, more remembrance of the film began to occur. And, once the killing sequences started it all clicked, but, still presented as a distant memory. At this point, I paused and went to check the stats on the film. 2024 ! Release Date , No effing way ! I have been pretty selective and scaled back in my movie viewing since the hum-drum, stay in the house all day, COVID years. Honestly, I don't think I would have suffered thru this film even during those days. Since the characters, and settings, looked, (in my opinion) pretty 90's. I thought maybe it was a remake on a 90's films. And, my recollection was from watching the original film, back in the day. Confident in my assertion,only this time even AI informed me it was not a remake. Just putting it out-there in case any of you happened to be bumped into that same realm.
