Audience Member Low budget Tim Holt western is essentially a Billy the Kid type of character meets a Judge Roy Bean type of character. Notoriuos liar Bill Barker, played by Harry Carey, goes out west and cons his way into a Mayor/Judge role in a small town and he then has to deal with the wild outlaw named The Tonto Kid, played by Holt. Corny, but quite entertaining and featuring two strong leads.
