Thuc N I watched this movie with my dad as a child and I still remember it to this day. This is one of those movies that I want to watch again and again. Very interesting, good plot, good cast and acting. Peaceful, beautiful, inspiring, warm but sad are the words I use to describe "The Legend of 1900". Great music, full of history, very slow paced but the movie never escapes you. Lisa Alspector Chicago Reader ...the nearly incessant camera movement suggests only the literal: the ship's progress across the ocean. Mar 6, 2019 Full Review Bruce Fretts Entertainment Weekly A trio of fine performances keeps it from curdling into magical schmaltz. Roth projects a disarmingly elegant presence, and he's equaled by Clarence Williams III, who challenges 1900 to a piano showdown in the film's exuberant centerpiece. Rated: B- Mar 6, 2019 Full Review Rita Kempley Washington Post The Legend of 1900 would have benefited from more story and less music, and tends to wear thin before it quite reaches the dock, but it is a ravishing film. Titanic should have looked so good.
