Actor and comedian Adam Sandler (Hotel Transylvania, The Wedding Singer) delivers signature laughs in this coming-of-age animated musical comedy about the last year of elementary school -- as seen through the eyes of a class pet. Jaded 74-year-old lizard Leo (Sandler) has been stuck in the same Florida classroom for decades with his terrarium-mate turtle (Bill Burr). When this movie first came out, I thought it would be horrible. however after watching the movie it wasn't that bad. one problem I have with the movie is that it has quite a few adult themes mixed in with it being a kids movie. I think this movie was for the adults watching it with the kids.

Excellent animation but whoever wrote this script was on drugs, quite surreal about a talking lizard who helps children and adults, not your typical animated film, not really child-oriented, some mature humor.
