Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews It lacks an edge and though elegantly filmed in grand costumes it lacks sophisticated wit and its over familiar plot is too predictable. Rated: C+ Jun 26, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Frothy Rene Clair comedy, his first in color. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Classy, refined romance in provincial town where everyone knows everyone else's secrets between playboy army lieutenant Gerard Philipe and scrupulous socialite milliner Michele Morgan. To his surprise he finds love for the first time, but obstacles to happiness include the pesky gossip grapevine and the fact that he began his courtship as a bet with his fellow soldiers. Impeccable script and great cast, including young doe-eyed Brigitte Bardot as a photographer's daughter dating Philipe's best friend, and the ending will surely tug at your heartstrings. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member izleyelim, izletelim...
