Kliff H Great occult follow up. The best looking villains ever. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Like any number of sequels, it is difficult to match the original. Jean Reno is as reliable as ever, and the story begins promisingly enough bringing the two cops together, along similar lines to the first film, but then it starts to get convoluted, despite good camera work adding to the tension. Super powered monks propel us towards an Indiana Jones kind of finale and from a thriller, albeit with some well orchestrated scenes, we get to an adventure romp. I'd stick to the first film, or even try the recent tv series for something more credible. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review steve d About as good as the original, the actors make it work. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Uma recaída em comparação ao primeiro porém mesmo assim mantém um certo ritmo envolvente e acelerado , a caracterização dos monges ficou interessante , direção de fotografia muito boa e elenco formidável Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review don s This is a watered down version of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The Germans (Nazis?) are out to capture religious artifacts that don't belong to them and will stop at nothing to obtain them. There is even a scene which mimics the rolling ball scene in this movie - only it is rushing water instead. The good guys, who seemed to mesh better in the first movie, try everything within the law to stop them. I enjoyed Camille Natta in her role as the religious expert of the police force. Average crime thriller. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Killer monks hopped up on drugs, have mad skills in parkour, bullets can't put them down! Exactly what order is this and does the Vatican know! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
