While Lez Bomb certainly doesn't hit all the shots it takes, I think it's a really important (and entertaining) step forward. Go to Full Review

3.5/5
While rarely feeling heavy-handed, Lez Bomb manages to be both over-the-top funny and yet incredibly realistic, sans the doom and gloom of yesteryear. Go to Full Review

Jackie S 11/27/2023 A decent lesbian film that makes you feel good in the end. A little cheesy and cringy at times but not enough to ruin the film. See more sue b 02/23/2023 Really bland C-grade film, with pointless subplots and an overwhelming feeling of 'so what'. The characters didn't build up enough to really care about them. Minor pet peeve, the food hygiene in the film was pretty off - people sticking fingers in food, handling it, etc. Maybe that was intended to give a sense of familiarity, but I just thought 'yuck'. I can't even remember how it ended, it was so underwhelming See more 11/25/2021 This is the greatest movie ever. Has become an annual thanksgiving watch for my family See more 11/23/2021 The script tries and fails to take the premise of a single joke and stretch it out over 90 minutes, resulting in virtually no conflict in the slightest. All around painful Hallmark acting too. Two stars instead of one for the grandparents, who were charming enough to make the movie somewhat more palatable. See more 07/31/2020 Happy ending for lesbians! I was suspicious seeing it on Netflix because the title is... not to my taste (considering how often Netflix films featuring queer women are sexualized), but this was a perfect queer holiday rom-com I'd feel comfortable watching with my parents, something we need more of. Yes, some of the plot is far fetched, but I was willing to accept some of the more outlandish parts considering that it really provides a great backdrop for how scary coming out can be. I was laughing out loud through most of the movie, and the main couple is so sweet. The family antics were hilarious. Absolutely adored this movie. See more 06/21/2020 The only thing that Lez Bomb accomplished was BOMBING the opportunity to be anything more than a corny, cliche-ridden, mess that delved as deep into the complexity and intricacies around the real coming out process as a—- I don't even know because it just didn't at all. Terrible terrible terrible. Do not waste your time. I am ready to switch careers just so I can produce a movie of my own because it wouldn't be nearly as awful. My best guess is the budget for this movie wAs $17, which would have been better spent on two and half chipotles to feed me for lunch and dinner ... and nothing more. I mean, I even could have gotten food poisoning and vomited up those meals and what would have ended up in that toilet would have been worth more than the value of this film. Did I mention I do not recommend? I feel personally victimized by Jenna Laurenzo, Rob Moran, Martin Sprock, and Ryan R. Johnson. See more Read all reviews
