As a dual character study of the film's problematic protagonists, director Paolo Virzi makes sure to not sway you into liking the pair or not, but simply lays out the information and lets the audience decide themselves. And for a majority of the run time, it pays off, detouring only at the very end. If you want to see Italy, albeit through the eyes of two women with severe depression, this movie takes you through the best and worst the country has to offer.

Esta historia de amistad es tierna y dura a la vez, pues no dejamos de estar viendo a dos personas inestables psicológicamente. Valeria Bruni Tedeschi destaca muy por encima de todo el elenco. En cuanto empieza la road movie de ellas dos, después de habernos sido introducidas en el inicio de la película, empieza un viaje interesantísimo, con situaciones duras y a la vez graciosas. Los escenarios son preciosos. Y es por eso que si no llega a ser por el final tan emocionante y bien dirigido que tiene no me convencería nada esta película. Cómo se resuelve la trama principal de la película, la del personaje de Micaela Ramazzotti, sube el nivel de esta obra que para mi gusto es un poco larga y se pierde en secundarios que tienen más o menos gracia. Es una película muy alegre, pese a ser una comedia dramática que a mi me convenció más como drama que como comedia. Aunque tiene situaciones divertidas, creo que no son lo mejor de la cinta. Es recomendable.
