Stacey (Brittany Murphy) is an associate producer for a daytime talk show featuring Kippie Kann (Kathy Bates). She's upset that her boyfriend, Derek (Ron Livingston), won't talk about his past relationships. With encouragement from her co-worker Barb (Holly Hunter), Stacey steals Derek's phone, contacts his ex-girlfriends and interviews them under the pretense that they'll be on the show. But things get complicated when Stacey forms a friendship with one of the girls (Julianne Nicholson).

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This is one of the more subversive entires into the romcom genre. Although the plot could be a bit convoluted at times, I really enjoyed the unexpected way everything came together. Among the stellar cast, there are strong performances from Holly Hunter and Kathy Bates, and an especially memorable performance from the great Brittany Murphy. If you're looking for a rom com that transcends the cookie cutter formula, Little Black Book is highly recommended!
