Phil Hoad Guardian It feels cobbled together, but there’s just about enough attitude here to appease the horror hordes. Rated: 2/5 Aug 19, 2024 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Throughout, the performances are solid, the lighting and sound work good, and the writer/director teams well synchronised, making the whole thing flow smoothly despite the changes in style. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 27, 2024 Full Review Kat Hughes THN Though created by different minds, the consistent lens of cinematographer Scott Coulter maintains cohesion. The overall viewing experience of Lore is very much that of being sat around a campfire with friends recounting scary ideas. Rated: 3/5 Sep 6, 2024 Full Review Bee Delores Horrorverse Basically an adult version of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Lore mostly works with decent segments to the downright chilling. Aug 29, 2024 Full Review Joel Harley Starburst "Mixed bag" is a cliché in itself, used to describe many an anthology horror film; a mixed bag it may be, but its contents are far from cliché. Victoria G I have to say, I went into watching this thinking it would be a bit rubbish but actually was pleasantly surprised! The campfire acting was a bit poor but it didn't really matter as the ' stories' I felt, were acted well and where the main focus was. Over all, I really enjoyed this movie and thought it deserves a watch Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review Read all reviews
