01/28/2014 This may very well be the only bad Lupin the 3rd movie. A whole lot of Lupin impersonators converge on Japan when a low level Lupin impersonator is caught shoplifting. They all want to prove they are the real deal, and it causes the real Lupin to come to light, trying to breach a military contractor's secret object known as the Ice Cube. The movie itself is devoid of any thrills or action, is confusing and muddled, and ends rather badly. The only cool part was Jigen dueling a helicopter, with Goemon a hostage inside. Besides that, this is a very weak OVA that fails to capture the fun and spirit of the series and characters. See more Read all reviews
