@NattReactt 6d I’ve never been a huge MGK fan, not out of dislike, but because I never knew much about him. I put this documentary on as background noise while cleaning and ended up fully locked in until the end. The film does a great job showing both MGK and Colson, capturing his rise, setbacks, and success in an honest, well-paced way. As a music documentary fan, I appreciated the insight into the making of his two back-to-back #1 albums. What stood out most was how unfiltered he was. MGK doesn’t shy away from his hardships and mistakes, but he also highlights the good he’s experienced along the way. The pacing and direction of the film felt intentional and cohesive, making it an engaging watch from start to finish. Overall, it made me want to explore his music more, and I hope future music documentaries follow a similar format and level of honesty.
