Neither of Madaari's two child actors has the charisma to match up to him. Still, Khan persuades us to invest in them too. Go to Full Review

05/21/2020 A must watch Indian film!! See more 07/13/2018 One of the best movie....Loved it.....Thanks to produce this type of movies....It's heart touching. See more 05/14/2018 The movie had a great idea but bungled up in the execution. The storytelling is based on a revenge plot by a common man, he undergoes a personal tragedy due to a corruption-related disaster and now is looking for justice. He goes about in achieving it by kidnapping a minister's son. The movie is supposed to be based on real-life events, but on digging deeper found it to be a false claim, only the disaster happened, no one went about seeking retribution in such a style. The problem with the movie was the pacing, with a run time of 2 hr 13 minutes, it's about 40 to 50 minutes too long. Many scenes and sequences were dragged out and not needed, if they could have edited those out, the watching experience would have been more entertaining. It would have been a terrible movie if not for Irrfan Khan's performance, as usual he gives a powerful one. It's really a 3-star movie, but taking one off for the silly claim of based on Real Life Events. See more 03/03/2018 Excellent movie with a wonderful story and superb performances. Well edited and directed. A good watch See more 11/10/2017 Regardless all the flaws in this movie, I will it a five star. It's message is really strong. Had Bollywood been a good film company, this movie would have been recognized. See more 04/23/2017 This is a heart renching tail.... and in spite of everything the system remains!
