"Madu" follows 12-year-old Anthony Madu as he leaves his family and community in Nigeria to study at one of the most prestigious ballet schools in the world in England. This is a beautiful film following this young dancers dream of becoming a professional dancer. The inobtrusive style of the film allows you to follow the story at a respectful distance whilst at the same time being allowed to feel the emotions this young man and his family go through. It leaves you itching for more, to see if he makes it on to the big stage that he dreams of.
