An irresistibly charming film - imagine an Ealing comedy transported to the suburbs of Melbourne and you'll have a pretty good idea of what's in store. Go to Full Review

Phil L Jun 25 Clever and funny. Set in the gritty parts of Melbourne and working off the main characters love for trains and all things mechanical. This is a solid comedy that is a bit different to most. Really enjoyed it and there are some fine performances (in particular Colin Friels) but the gadgets are also worthy of comment............ See more Finn H 03/31/2024 One of my all time favourites, that fact that it was filmed around the area I grew certainly contributes! See more Peter W 04/10/2023 Overall, this is truly a fun film with pleasing elements of both charm and creativity. As an Australian film, I can understand why so many people love it, and I'm surprised at how well this film still holds up.  The performance of Colin Friels as Malcolm is brilliant and unforgettable.
