He never should have taken this sleazy role. But of course, actors hate to turn down big paychecks--and, of course, they need to keep their faces on the screen as much as possible. It has incidental music reminiscent of those kinds of films and it certainly has a seedy feel to it (there is an element of voyeurism present which may embarrass some people perhaps). I think Adrien Brody does quite well playing the down trodden PI type. However, the story I found a bit threadbare and I didn't find it entirely as engrossing as I may have liked. Its ok, not an awful film or anything but certainly not great either, sadly. I wouldn't especially recommend this as such, no. I tempi che distanziano gli eventi a volte non sono chiari e spesso i cambi di ritmo finiscono per far perdere alcuni elementi e metterne in risalto altri meno interessanti.
