Nik R Simply marvellous. If you don't feel better about the world after watching this, you're in trouble. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review isla s This is very much an uplifting, amusing and entertaining film. The main character is very likeable - he has a sort of larger than life personality and his ability to blag things is quite something. The less I say about this, the better, I reckon but I would say that Toby Jones gives a great performance and I highly recommend this film, regardless of whether your a football fan or not. I dare you not to smile or giggle when he says '...he's a very good friend of mine' for the umpteenth time!. I liked how simple and yet true some of his sayings were - there's something definitely admirable about that. A delightful film I highly recommend. I'm now curious to read more about the main character in real life, as it says the film is based on a true story, which is somewhat hard to believe but, frankly, makes it all the more lovely and, indeed, as the film title says, marvellous!. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Pete O Incredible film, incredible acting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/19/20 Full Review Audience Member Really enjoyable film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member That is the most brilliant, uplifting 90 minutes I have ever seen. Why they didn't make it a theatrical release I'll never know, but YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! It is just perfect, poingnant, joyful and so many other things I'm lost for words. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member If you appreciate a genuine movie with a twist of English soccer you'll enjoy this comedy.
