As a concert film, Mary J. Blige: For My Fans is exactly what it says, a somewhat unfocused and unshaped documentary which feels intended to satisfy die-hard fans who would never make demands of the Queen of Hip Hop Soul in the first place.

I enjoyed it all. The performance was amazing and most importantly MJB interviewed toward the end when she got emotional had my eyes watery because I can relate to some different times when I had to keep moving in spite of my hardship.
