Fabolous

Boasting the requisite swagger and a knack for infectious lyrics, rapper John "Fabolous" Jackson made a name for himself with several hit singles, plenty of face time on MTV, and at least one well-documented run-in with the law. Coming out of New York, Fabolous attracted early attention when his mix tapes landed him a deal with the label Desert Storm. He broke out in 2001 with his hit single, "I Can't Deny It," featured on his debut album, Ghetto Fabolous. Soon Fabolous was touring with the likes of Jay Z and Nelly and collaborating with such hip-hop luminaries as Sean "Diddy" Combs. More hits followed with hit singles like "Make Me Better" and chart-topping albums like Loso's Way (2009). Ambitious, young and talented, Fabolous excelled in the dog-eat-dog world of hip-hop and beyond.
