There is still too much a creeping element of exploitation and loss of childhood innocence to ignore. Go to Full Review

This series does an excellent job of adding fresh perspectives and real-life insights to a much-needed discussion without leaning too heavily in favor of either side. Go to Full Review

L. F Sep 27 I'm in shock! The level of delusion shown by these parents is quite terrifying. The focus on wealth and disregard for safety was very sad to watch. The justification that they are "just posting home videos which people happen to like" is completely ripped apart by the high level of production and planning shown as going into every scene of "content". Yes, in some cases the children looked like they were having fun while taking on their performing roles. However, you can't help but notice the exasperated, exhausted adults who are interacting with them and are creating these unnatural (and sometimes damaging!) situations for the sake of views and earnings. Let's be honest, this programme had a view point from the start and, of course, it repeatedly confirmed it. That said, the clips do speak for themselves and it's undeniable that the use of children in promoting brands and monetising social media content is highly concerning. It's interesting to see where these parents will and won't draw a line. The show does a good job at calling things out with the parents and film makers are also forced to acknowledge their own roles in exploiting "child influencers" for the sake of content.
