What to Know

Critics Consensus

The Madison may not be an all-inclusive stay, but it offers a top-tier Michelle Pfeiffer, beautiful East Coast locations, and an expansion of the Taylor Sheridan universe, which is satisfying enough.

Yes, these women are ridiculous, as many of Sheridan’s women are. But, after so many seasons of the rich Duttons playing country on their show, there is something purifying about the divisions Sheridan sets out to explore in The Madison. Go to Full Review

Some scenes and concepts in The Madison are absurd in the extreme, like the idea that the streets of New York are more dangerous than any wild west. But there also are moments of true beauty and calm. Go to Full Review

Michelle Pfeiffer enters the Taylor Sheridan universe in stellar form even when he sinks her in a Montana vs Manhattan grudge match that’ll bore you breathless. Go to Full Review

The plot moves from Manhattan and Madison Avenue to the Madison River valley of central Montana, but the emotion we see along the way makes The Madison the most relatable of Sheridan’s ever-growing list of Paramount+ series. Go to Full Review

Taylor Sheridan scores again with this saga about the Clyburns. Superficially, there's lots of urban vs. rural conflict. Thematically, it's all about responsibility and relationships. Propelling the plot, Michelle Pfeiffer is magnificent. Go to Full Review

Freya G @RT11182837 14h There’s only six episodes! Feel a bit cheated! Beautiful, poignant and stunning scenery! Cried in the second episode! Not your usual Taylor Sheridan show! 👍🏻 The Sheriff.. The best looking man with the most sex appeal out of all the Yellowstone men!!! Googled the actor and he appears to have gone through the Capt America machine! 👀😂 Russell’s my favourite though! Hope to see him grow and become more of a country man. It’s been renewed for another season, so hopefully! The littlest kid is my second favourite! See more Sam O @RT14478272 2d Excellent depiction of life from the grey city to the green country. Beautifully shot and boldly told. A wonderfully told story that expresses the pain so many in the modern world experience daily. Simply beautiful. See more Duncan S. @RT37508486 3d I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to season 2. It had some sad scenes, and a lot of funny ones. See more A Z @Anett 4d Loved this show — it kept me stuck to the TV the whole time, taking me from crying to laughing, and that’s exactly what a great series is all about. Michelle Pfeiffer delivers an amazing performance that makes it even more special. See more Rhonda B @Ronnie22 4d I loved this show. The acting is top-notch; and the scenery is gorgeous. This show beautifully explores what it means to lose a loved one: the grieving, the anger & the healing that one must go through to come out on the other side. The actors are amazing! Can't wait for Season 2! See more R T @RT71852628 4d Very boring. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but it didn’t. It’s depressing because all they talk about is death.
