When an officer with the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD detective Mark Meachum, portrayed by Ackles, is recruited to a secret task force, alongside undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement, to investigate. But the hunt for the killer soon uncovers a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, kicking off a race against time to save a city of millions.

They used a translator for a Singaporean... ENGLISH is the national language of Singapore. Then the Chinese Singaporean was speaking Malay. Just lazy and ignorant writing. The bickering between Meachum and Oliveras was contrived and annoying. But I finally got pulled into the investigation story. The best part is seeing experts from different agencies gradually pulling together as a smart, clever machine working against time and a smart, clever opponent. The 2nd mystery plot was well done, despite the return of the bickering subplot. Again, a smart, clever bad guy always 3steps ahead! And the season-ending cliffhanger was one of the BEST I’ve ever seen…. But…. CANCELLED???!!!! WTF? Who does that? Which stupid executive doesn’t recognize a decent show when there’s so much garbage on Prime that they don’t cancel. This show better be picked up by another streaming service! Or, at the very least finish the riveting “is he FBI or isn’t he?” storyline with a movie!!!
