Now that Greg Focker is "in" with his soon-to-be in-laws, Jack and Dina Byrnes, it looks like smooth sailing for him and his fiancée, Pam. But that's before Pam's parents meet Greg's parents, the Fockers. The hyper-relaxed Fockers and the tightly-wound Byrnes are woefully mismatched from the start, and no matter how hard Greg and Pam try, there is just no bringing their families together. This all adds up to a disastrously funny time of getting to know you.

'Meet the Fockers' is one of the worst sequels I’ve ever seen. It starts with promise, recalling the first film’s precise, awkward humor, but the arrival of Hoffman and Streisand instantly drains the comedy. Their character work is impeccable, but it clashes with the story, creating rejection instead of laughter. Ben Stiller remains a strong anchor, and his chemistry with Teri Polo is still enjoyable; De Niro, however, fails to engage. The plot is clumsy, simple, and poorly written, with fatigue setting in by the midpoint. I wasn’t expecting a carbon copy of the first, but I did hope to laugh and be surprised—here, none of that happens. A weak, unsatisfying sequel.

If you liked meet the parents as much as I as I did, Meet the Fockers was bringing me back to memories of my own parents pulling out the photo album to my girlfriends- what a laugh- th sequel is better than the first- an easy going tight arse strict parents vs open an easy going parents- we all have one or the other Great film 4.5/5

Building on the lighthearted family-comedy tone of its predecessor, and introducing Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand as highly contrasting personalities, Meet the Fockers delivers another delightful star-studded ensemble that never feels weighed down by its script.

They really know how to milk a joke, but it ends well. 7/10 - Good moral fun instead of a nonlinear liminal mystery drama or whatever shines some critics' knobs nowadays.
